We Only Have Appointments on the Hour, but Booker Doesn’t Get It

This is more of a feature request than a bug report. Nonetheless, this issue should be easy for Booker to understand from the standpoint of their customers and even easier to fix.

We have “services” that take either one hour or two hours. Therefore, want clients to schedule on the hour. I don’t want someone to schedule at 8:20, for example, I want them to schedule at 8:00 so our staff schedules are not all over the place. Buried in the Online Booking section of the settings, Booker does allow me to do this:

But this is not consistent on the staff/admin side of Booker. Staff is continually confronted with way too many choices for when an appointment should start and end. This leads to many mistakes.

If I try to change or edit an appointment, I have to scroll through about 200 time choices to find the one I want. It makes sense to me that if we want appointments locked to the hour, I should only see about 12 or 14 choices in that drop-down menu depending on our open hours. They should be: 8:00, 9:00, 10:00, 11:00, 12:00, 1:00, and so on.

This “feature” as Booker would refer to it, costs our staff in wasted time each and every day.

Lastly, and this is even wonkier, if I try to drag an appointment from one spot on the schedule to another, the tooltip shows one time, but Booker sees another. In the screenshot below, I attempted to drag an appointment from one room at 9:00 to a different room at 9:00. As I carefully place the dragged appointment into just the perfect spot, I see the yellow tooltip pop up as a confirmation that I’m there. BUT NO! As shown in the error message at the top of the screenshot, Booker sees a different time, so I have to click “CANCEL” and try again. This is maddening and a huge waste of time.

This last issue with the tooltip and calendar being out of sync is certainly bug-worthy.
